After traveling places over two months, I return to my hometown. No one seems excited but my liquor store guy
“Sir, where have you been? We were worried you might have…Ahem. Sir, how many bottles?”
Two months?… what so wonderful and long journey you had. Why don’t you take your camera with you instead of the boots?
I have a heart unlike many and I believe “Every Sole needs Rest”
Oh I can guess where you have been. GBY
Oh! Now I get it…You are wicked. Ha Ha Ha!
Though let me confess, I like being pampered
hmm, you bet.
In respect to our previous conversation, I stay silent here.
But you have a great eye!
This is fiction writing and of course some reference to past memories.
My dear Ellen. Okay, I’ll shut up!
I don’t know what it is, but girls in/with boots do it for me
Stilettos for me. On second thoughts if a girl smiles back that’s more than enough:)
Good to know that your’re safe back home… You must be a fantastic customer if the guy told you that…
And…. there are so many misconceptions about girls/fashion/boots/shoes… Sometimes the greatest beauty hides under the most stupid outfit…
That is right, Ela. He recognizes my voice over the phone with a mere Hello from my end. So when I call him for home delivery there’s no need to give my address. He knows
True. And she is what a true wanderer should look like. My benchmark. The aged boots on her shoulder is her trophy. I think it’s quite cool.
Hehe, he dreams your address, that means you really are on fluids diet, my brother… Make sure you keep yourself healthy…
Yes, you’re right, the boots are a trophy or her best friends… In any case I have great admiration for women that, instead of only being pretty and feminine, have the guts to take more risks in life and wander and fight and find new paths where there’s none… In my opinion these women are the best, they change the world.
Me sobering down much. Quit smoking last year. 120 ml a day in perfect small measures.
Sleep at 10 pm. Wake up at 5. More I say, will make you conscious
I’m a poet, beyond gender and I mean it, sincerely. About changing the world, do it, as many times as you like. I have no problems if the world let’s me write and end of the day I get to have my whisky in peace
One thing I know for sure. I was born smoker. My mom is a smoker and I know for sure I have known nicotine even in the womb.
For many people smoking is a cool/trandy thing, for me it’s in my blood. I have my own habits related to it, my own brand, I take my time, I chew my thoughts and I enjoy doing it on my own.
Drinking is not my thing, never was, never will be. But I have been around many people that drink moderate or a lot , so I understand all aspects of this thing. It’s not a physical need, it’s a need of the soul mostly…
I’m poet as well, beyond gender, race, age, I live my feelings and I embrace them and I write them and I want to “photograph ” them in words… Sometimes I can do it nicely, sometimes not.
At the end of the day you enjoy your whisky and me my cigarette so we are very much alike my brother. That moment has very deep emotional/mental meanings.
Ela, feel free to do what you think is right. In the morning when you wake up, if your heart is rejoicing the new day and holds no remorse of day gone by, you are walking the right path. Simple
I am free and I do what I feel, always. I guess poets are like this, it’s part of their way of life and you know it better than me. And yes, it is the right path, because we chose it with passion.
I wish you a fabulous day Arjun!
